The first is an integration of Samsara’s Safety Solution, a collaboration that will bring a factory-installed, comprehensive trailer monitoring to North American fleets.

Samsara’s Camera Connector will facilitate wireless video transmission from Hyundai Translead’s HT LinkVue system directly to the cab, eliminating the need for rewiring and reducing installation costs and downtime. Fleet managers will have access to review events through Samsara’s platform.

This collaboration addresses a need for advanced trailer monitoring among long-haul trucking, private logistics, construction and high-value freight carriers. Having real-time visibility around trailers, said Samsara Vice President of Hardware Product Management Tom McNeela, is an important steps in keeping drivers safe, protecting their cargo, and running more efficiently.

"By integrating Hyundai Translead’s HT LinkVue system with Samsara’s Connected Operations Platform, fleets get a more complete picture of what’s happening on the road," he said.

Platform Science integration

Hyundai Translead also is updating HT LinkVue to accommodate third-party integrations by partnering with fleet management solutions providers to extend the camera system's capabilities.

Hyundai Translead’s newest partnership with Platform Science offers integration to their open platform for fleet data, enhancing operation efficiency to maximize performance, increase connectivity, and optimize asset management strategies.

Brendan Wood, Platform Science vice president of strategic programs and corporate development, said the new update makes it easier for fleets to integrate HT LinkVue into their operations while leveraging their existing fleet management solution investments.
