Radiant Logistics, a non-asset based third party logistics provider, has acquired Seattle-based Cascade Transportation, a provider of custom and time critical transportation and logistics services. Financial terms were not disclosed, however, post-close Cascade will maintain its current leadership and operate as Radiant Global Logistics.
Cascade, founded in 1982, services a diversified account base including retail, e-commerce, production furniture and trade show industries. Based in Renton, Washington, Radiant provides domestic and international freight forwarding along with truck and rail brokerage services to a diversified account base including manufacturers, distributors and retailers which it supports from an extensive network of Radiant and agent-owned offices throughout North America and other key markets around the world. Radiant's value-added logistics services include warehouse and distribution, customs brokerage, order fulfillment, inventory management and technology services.

Radiant this year has also acquired Viking Worldwide, a Minnesota based company with operations in both Minneapolis, Minnesota and Houston, Texas that has operated under the company’s Service By Air brand since 2012, and acquired Select Logistics and Select Cartage. Both Doral, Florida based companies have operated as part of the company’s Adcom Worldwide brand since 2007.
