An emotional Mark McLean held off a challenge from FedEx Freight co-workers Eric Vos and Charles Kerr to become the third repeat winner in SuperTech history on Wednesday at the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Fall Meeting in Orlando.

He thanked his fiancé, co-workers and other competitors for their support during the contest, and credited that assistance for allowing him to stay focused over the intense competition.

“Thank you so much. You all helped get me back on track,” he said.

McLean also thanked the event sponsors for their support. The 25 year old will take home nearly $25,000 in gift cards and prizes, including an all-inclusive package to the 2015 Daytona 500.

McLean won three individual stations (drivetrain, service information and wheel end) during the two-day event, the most of all competitors.

Vos took second behind McLean for the second year in a row and won the Liftgate division. Despite not winning an individual station, Kerr used a steady performance thought the competition to snag third place.

Vos and Kerr also nabbed trips to NASCAR races at the Brickyard and Talledega for their efforts.
