The world’s largest refrigerated carrier — the Salt Lake City-based C.R. England — has signed an exclusive three-year agreement with Thermo King to use the reefer manufacturer’s Precedent trailer platform, which was released in June of this year.

The Precedent, says Thermo King, was built for fuel-efficiency and lower life cycle cost, and C.R. England will be using the S-600 model Precedent in its operations.

The Precedent line is also compliant with new EPA regulations that go into effect on Jan. 1, 2013.
