Eaton Corp. on Friday, Sept. 28, announced the addition of its Eaton Fuller Flex Reman transmissions to its recently introduced bundle package of remanufactured and aftermarket components. With the bundle package, warranty coverage is extended from two years to three years with the combined purchase of a Flex or standard Eaton Fuller reman transmission with an Eaton Advantage Series clutch and Roadranger-approved lubricant.

“The bundle package has been very well received by our commercial truck customers since launching the program earlier this year,” said Bill Fouch, aftermarket marketing manager for Eaton’s transmission business. “Because of that, we decided to add our lineup of Flex transmissions that have also been well received. Now, with the additional warranty extensions, our customers have all the more reason to stick with genuine Eaton components in the aftermarket.”

Eaton Flex Reman transmissions allow truck dealers to lower parts inventories while increasing availability to multiple models because they cover a wide range of torques with no clutch housings. The Flex line also benefits fleets with enhanced access to Eaton’s Reman portfolio, and now with the increased warranty coverage that comes with the bundle package.

“When faced with a truck-down situation, access to quality remanufactured components can often be critical,” said Fouch. “Our Flex transmissions allow for that quick turnaround needed, while also allowing dealers to keep inventories low and maintain profitability.” In addition to the use of OEM-quality parts, Eaton heavy-duty Fuller Reman transmissions have many new parts, and Eaton says all units are performance-tested to ensure its standards and specifications are met.

Eaton Solo Advantage and Easy Pedal Advantage clutches feature extended 50,000-mile standard lubrication intervals for linehaul applications, premium release bearings and added protection against potentially harmful driveline vibrations. All Advantage Series clutches feature standard 2-year/unlimited mileage aftermarket warranty. Eaton’s Solo Advantage is a self-adjusting clutch that helps reduce maintenance for more uptime and is suited for trucks with hydraulic linkages. The Easy Pedal Advantage clutch requires manual adjustments but is designed for quick and easy maintenance.

The program is available only for standard linehaul applications in the United States and Canada. Additional program details are available by referencing the Reman Bundle Package Sales Card (APSL0300) and the Warranty Guide (TCWY0900) on Roadranger.com. Roadranger synthetic lubricants, including SAE 50 transmission fluid and SAE 75W-90 and SAE 80W 140 drivetrain fluids, are formulated with high-quality raw materials and additives. The Roadranger network supports Eaton Corporation and other trusted partners, and includes more than 200 drivetrain professionals providing specification assistance, training, service, parts and warranty expertise throughout North America.
