Horton names Getter VP/manufacturing

Horton Inc. – a provider of fan drives, fans and suspension products – has hired John Getter as vice president of manufacturing. Getter, who has nearly 30 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering and procurement, most recently, was vice president of manufacturing and logistics for Bühler Inc., a Plymouth, Minn.-based manufacturer of food-processing equipment.

Getter also has held senior positions in management, operations, engineering and sourcing with Graco Inc. of Suzhou, China, and Minneapolis. He also was director of engineering for Lake Air Design of Coon Rapids, Minn.; senior manufacturing engineer for Rosemount Measurement Division Inc. of Eden Prairie, Minn.; and manufacturing and test engineer for Fisher-Rosemount Systems Division Inc. of Burnsville, Minn.
