Echo Global posts higher 4Q, full-year net income

Echo Global Logistics, a provider of technology-enabled transportation and supply chain management services, on Tuesday, Feb. 14, announced that fourth-quarter revenue increased by 43.1 percent to $162.9 million during the 2011 period compared with $113.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2010. Operating income increased by 60.8 percent to $5.2 million compared with $3.2 million, and net income increased by 68.5 percent to $3.5 million compared with $2.1 million.

For the 2011 full year, revenue increased by 41.4 percent to $602.8 million compared with $426.4 million in 2010. Operating income increased by 113.2 percent to $18.7 million compared with $8.8 million, and net income increased by 118.4 percent to $11.9 million compared with $5.4 million.
