TravelCenters of America announced that Performance Plus Winterized Diesel fuel is available at 127 of its TravelCenters of America and Petro Stopping Centers branded locations in Northern Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Northern Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Eastern Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
According to the company, Performance Plus is seasonally adjusted to serve in all weather climates, and winterized diesel is formulated to improve operability in extreme cold weather conditions, deliver fully synthetic lubricity improver and protect the entire fuel system from corrosion and sludge. It also contains de-icers to help prevent fuel line icing. Diesel fuel at TA and Petro locations is seasonally adjusted with an additive supplied by Innospec Fuel Specialties, a dedicated fuel treatment company.
