PeopleNet, a provider of integrated onboard computing and mobile communications systems, announced its partnership with Trinium Technologies, provider of an enterprise management system for both domestic intermodal and international container operations. The partnership includes integration between Trinium-TMS (Transportation Management System) for intermodal trucking and truckload operations with PeopleNet’s mobile communications system and Automated Workflow.

“This is a partnership truly driven by market demand for systems that will enable business expansion into additional sectors of the transportation industry,” says Kerri Tabor, PeopleNet Integration Services manager. “In fact, several intermodal trucking and truckload companies have been using both PeopleNet and Trinium systems, indicating a growing trend and the need for our support.”

“We will use the PeopleNet Link for integrating GPS data and inbound, outbound and freeform messaging data into our TMS system,” says Dennis Lane, Trinium vice president. “The addition of PeopleNet’s Automated Workflow and geofencing capabilities will strengthen our enterprise system, providing even greater process and workflow automation and faster communication between drivers and dispatchers.”
