Remy Inc., manufacturer of Delco Remy heavy-duty starters and alternators, announced the strengthening of its field sales team with the addition of two heavy-duty industry professionals. The company says this strategic move allows Remy to intensify its focus on customer support while meeting the heavy-duty market business challenges.

Britt Caple has been named national fleet manager, responsible for working with target fleet accounts. He will cover the Southeast region. Prior to joining Remy, Caple held a number of progressive sales and marketing positions with Fontaine International during his 21-year tenure with the company. His most recent in the organization was as a key account manager.

“Britt Caple’s involvement and expertise in the truck market will certainly fortify our sale force,” says Randy Andis, director of aftermarket operations at Remy Inc., based in Pendleton, Ind.

Joe Dyer has been named regional sales and service manager for the Southeast. His primary responsibility will be managing the aftermarket distribution network in his region. Dyer joins the Remy team as a reputable industry veteran with a flourishing 25-year career at Daimler Trucks North America in fleet and dealer sales.

“Joe Dyer’s comprehensive understanding of heavy-duty sales and industry leadership will greatly benefit Remy and our customers in his new role,” Andis says.
