Trojan Battery Co., a manufacturer of deep-cycle batteries, announced a partnership with Red Dot Corp. to power its Sleeping Well Arctic 2000 with Trojan’s OverDrive AGM 31 batteries. Sleeping Well systems are battery-powered auxiliary air-conditioning systems distributed through Red Dot.

“We are pleased to welcome Red Dot to Trojan’s global alliance of OEM partners,” says Elke Hirschman, vice president of marketing for Trojan Battery. “Trojan’s OverDrive AGM 31 battery is perfectly suited to the heavy-duty cycling requirements of the Sleeping Well air conditioning systems.”

The Trojan OverDrive AGM 31 battery is a sealed deep-cycle absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery engineered for powering no-idle HVAC systems like the Sleeping Well Arctic 2000 over long periods of time. Built on proprietary deep-cycle technology, the OverDrive AGM 31 battery is optimized for high power density. Its heavy-duty cycling and deep discharge characteristics allow the OverDrive to provide a steady current in excess of 10 hours, effectively maintaining power to the auxiliary air conditioning system.

“Red Dot has endorsed Trojan’s OverDrive AGM 31 as its preferred battery to power Sleeping Well Arctic 2000 because of the battery’s superior quality and performance capabilities,” says Robert Gardiner, marketing manager for Red Dot. “The OverDrive delivers the greatest run time, longest life, and most competitive cost per cycle.”
