Con-way Freight drivers Robert Valdivia and Marshall Fulbright recently reached the two-million-mile mark.

Valdivia, a resident of Kansas City, Mo., has worked for Con-way Freight since 1993 and has been a professional truck driver for 30 years. He previously was recognized by the company with an award for 15 years of safe working, and for reaching one million miles of accident-free driving. Valdivia’s route takes him from Kansas City, Kan., to Springdale, Ark., a round trip of more than 450 miles.

Fulbright, a resident of Taylorsville, N.C., has worked for Con-way Freight since April 1, 1987 — when the Charlotte service center first opened for business — and has been a professional truck driver for 35 years. He previously was recognized by the company for reaching one million miles of accident-free driving, and with awards for three, five, 10, 15 and 20 years of safe driving. In addition, Fulbright was named the April 1993 Driver of the Month by the North Carolina Trucking Association. His route takes him from Charlotte to Richmond Hills, Ga., a round trip of almost 550 miles.
