PHH Arval has expanded its national cardlock program with the addition of Esso facilities to its network of cardlock fuel partners. The PHH Arval network, which also includes Petro Canada and United Farmers of Alberta stations, numbers more than 500 facilities across Canada.

PHH Arval says the program provides comprehensive fuel cost reporting, regardless of whether fuel is purchased at retail or cardlock locations, eliminating the need to merge fuel billing files for comprehensive unit level fleet reporting. It also allows fleet drivers the convenience of faster, more efficient fueling by giving them access to unmanned commercial stations 24/7.

In addition, the PHH service card facilitates retail fuel purchasing when cardlock is not available to ensure fuel purchasing meets the entire fleet’s requirements. It also consolidates billing so that PHH clients can pay one bill for all their fuel purchases, and provides end-to-end card administration, including ordering and distribution of fuel cards according to each client’s policy, as well as ongoing card and PIN maintenance.

“When we introduced this program last year, our clients who had trucks in their fleets were delighted at the new capability to integrate cardlock commercial fuel purchases with their retail purchases,” says Jim Halliday, president of PHH Canada. “The addition of Esso as a cardlock partner increases the size of the network by 32 percent, makes fuel purchases even more convenient and differentiates PHH in the marketplace.”
