Airclic, a global provider of mobile software products designed to improve performance of supply chain, logistics and field service operations, announced the launch of its Mobile Performance Platform.

Airclic’s Mobile Performance Platform is the foundation of the Company’s Perform product line, a series of industry-specific solutions with features and functionality that deliver real-time performance visibility of an organization’s people, assets and activities.

“Although IT spending was down in 2009, there has been growth in mobile software products for the enterprise,” says Michael King, Gartner analyst. “Mobile software products that are delivered via a highly evolved SaaS model are ideal for enterprises with resource constraints because of their ability to scale with the business, bring innovative features and functionality and drive performance — all increasing efficiencies and productivity throughout an organization.”

Airclic’s Perform products are hardware-agnostic and integrate into business processes. Airclic says it has leveraged its track record of success to assemble the features and functionality these industries require for optimizing business performance in an easy to use, affordable product.

“Our flexible and scalable Mobile Performance Platform will enable us to rapidly introduce new products that meet market demands,” says Rick Pontin, Airclic’s chief executive officer. “A SaaS model of delivery coupled with our extensive industry expertise puts us in a unique position to develop hardware-agnostic, affordable, intuitive products that are able to meet the specific needs of a variety of vertical markets.”
