Hengst announces its new online catalog for filter replacement parts at www.hengst-catalog.com. The search feature can be found directly on the first page of the catalog and guides the user quickly and efficiently to the suitable replacement part, according to the company. The main entry field allows for various search requests, by manufacturer, model, model range, year, Hengst article number or engine code.

During search entry, the system automatically recommends the corresponding result, which can be selected directly with a click of the mouse. “Using a single search to find your correct match, we aim to make the industry’s most user-friendly online catalog available to our customers, thereby providing a powerful time-saving tool,” says Rolf Sudmann, Hengst board member, Aftermarket Sales.

In addition to the quick search, an advanced search function also is available. This function allows a guided search for standard search fields, or can help narrow the results even further. Another option allows the user to search by filter dimensions. All of the search results can be generated as a PDF file, allowing the user to create catalogs according to separate categories, such as individual manufacturers, vehicles or specific filter types.

An image also is available for each filter. Another feature provides installation instructions for cabin air filters. A notes feature and an e-mail function for search results have been integrated in a filter catalog for the first time. New filters from the Hengst product line are displayed on a single page.

For the registered user, there also is a download function for the complete catalog — making the catalog available offline anytime as well. Users who prefer the offline version on CD-Rom can regularly update the catalog on their PC online. However, only the online version offers daily data updates every 24 hours.
