DistTech, a dedicated and common carriage provider for liquid bulk commodities, welcomed five company drivers to the company’s Million Miles Club and another two drivers to the Two Million Miles Club. These drivers earned the honor for having achieved one million or more consecutive accident-free miles throughout their driving careers.

“Safety and professionalism are at the heart of everything our entire driving team does every day,” says John Rakoczy, chief operating officer for Newbury, Ohio-based DistTech. “These drivers who have reached the one- and two-million-mile safe-driving mark exemplify this fundamental commitment to safely sharing the roads with other motorists every time they sit behind the wheel, We commend them for achieving this outstanding feat.”

DistTech drivers who recently reached the two-million-mile mark include James Mason, Denver; and Dan Ortloff, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. Drivers who recently reached the one-million-mile mark include Brett Gossett, Cincinnati; Jerry Branum and William Ferguson, both of Fort Worth, Texas; James Pierce, Ironton, Ohio; and Lowell Bailey Jr., Taylor, Mich. In all, 64 current DistTech employees nationwide now have reached the one- and two-million-mile accident-free mark since 1989.
