CRST touts team lease-purchase program

CRST Van Expedited announced a new lease-purchase program geared toward teams. The new program, incorporating late-model equipment (2007 models) coupled with payments under $230 per week, is designed to allow teams to be more profitable.

With this great opportunity, teams will be able to pocket hundreds of dollars more each month than with other lease-purchase programs that are out there,” says Carl Hadley, vice president of driver development and safety for the Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based company. “This is a great way for a team to become a very profitable independent contractor.”

The lease-purchase program also includes a competitive percentage pay package, fuel discounts, a maintenance program, competitive length of haul and other perks to assist the teams, the company says. CRST Van Expedited also offers a “Train Your Spouse” program for couples who may be interested in driving together.
