Ron Yarnell, PPG Commercial Coatings OEM sales manager, has been elected to the 2010-2013 term on the board of directors of the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers. Yarnell will begin his term at the board of directors meeting March 3 in Reno, Nev., to be held in conjunction with NATM’s annual national convention.
Yarnell has been with Strongsville, Ohio-based PPG for more than 25 years, the past nine years with the PPG Commercial Coatings group as an OEM sales manager. He is involved with marketing and sales development for the trailer, cryogenic, ground support equipment and oil/gas mobile equipment industries. Prior to his election to the NATM board, he served on the organization’s convention committee.
NATM represents manufacturers that produce light- and medium-duty trailers. Members include more than 435 trailer manufacturers, as well as a broad range of suppliers – including PPG – of products and services to the industry.
