The Alabama Department of Transportation recently announced a new website, www.trucking.alabama.gov, designed to offer a comprehensive online source for information regarding commercial driver’s licenses and trucking business. The website was created to simplify CDL and related business interaction with Alabama state government.
Available resources include driver’s record searches, online registration and renewal payments, fuel and trip permits, hazardous materials endorsements and oversize/overweight permits.
Assisting the state DOT with the website are the state’s Department of Public Safety, Department of Revenue and official website, www.alabama.gov.
