Con-Way Transportation Services has announced that 62 of its less-than-truckload driver sales representatives received driver of the month and driver of the year honors from four state trucking associations during 2005. In California, out of 85 driver of the month award recipients in 2005, 59 were Con-Way drivers, with two — Wesley Kaminsky and Emilio Cavazos — also receiving driver of the year honors.

“Sixty-two Con-Way drivers being honored in only four states for their safety records and professionalism is unprecedented,” says David S. McClimon, president of Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Con-Way. “When you consider the millions of miles these men drive safely each year after year, their recognition is well deserved. They are not only a credit to Con-Way but to the entire trucking industry.”

Con-Way is a subsidiary of San Mateo, Calif.-based CNF Inc.
