Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America has announced the appointment of Tony Pantuso to national account manager-heavy duty; and the promotion of Eric Karr to national account manager-heavy duty.

Pantuso — who will be dedicated to the Volvo, Mack and Prevost OE accounts — most recently was a new product development manager for powertrain parts at Mopar, the service parts division of DaimlerChrysler. Pantuso will report to David Stone, MEAA’s executive director of powertrain, body and chassis.

Karr, most recently a quality engineer for Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America in Northville, Mich., now will handle OE accounts in the western U.S. region. Karr also reports to Stone.

MEAA, a U.S. subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, offers a range of products and services, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, distribution and service of electrical and electronic systems and components for heavy trucks and commercial engine manufacturers, for both OEMs and the aftermarket.
