Cylinder head flowbench data never looked this good

Port Flow Analyzer – now available from SuperFlow Technologies Group – is a computer software program designed to streamline recording, calculating, reporting and graphing of cylinder head flowbench data, while using the latest technology to make flow testing faster, easier and more accurate.

Port Flow Analyzer is designed to enable engine builders and engineers to compare head/cam/engine combinations for peak performance, allowing them to create improvements in cylinder head flow, port velocity, swirl and tumble motion. Also included are features that save time (in repetitive data entry) and partially completed selection guides that help speed the process of choosing lift, flow range and test pressure settings, SuperFlow says. The Port Flow Analyzer (Pro Version) also has options for port velocity mapping with a pitot tube, swirl and tumble measurement, port stability and more.

The Port Flow Analyzer groups from one to eight cylinders together as a head. As a result, you can record and store details about head components, adapters, customer name and more; and when finished, present clear, detailed, professional reports and color graphs – on screen, in printed reports or via CD – with just a few keystroke commands, according to SuperFlow. Reports consist of raw or calculated results, for one cylinder or all cylinders, or averaged over the entire head. A high-resolution CFM graph allows you to double-check points that look “out of line” while running the test, thereby making math errors a thing of the past, the company says.
