Energy & Engine Technology Corp., a developer of auxiliary power generators for the long-haul trucking industry, announced that it has been endorsed by the Machinery Haulers Association as the exclusive APU to be recommended for purchase by its members. Under an exclusive arrangement that expires on Dec. 31, 2006, EENT will offer its product at a special price to MHA members.

MHA, based in Easton, Md., is a not-for-profit association of commercial motor carriers serving shippers of machinery and machinery-related commodities utilizing flatbed, stepdeck and lowboy equipment. According to the MHA, its members represent more than 10,000 trucks nationwide.

“I am thrilled to have our product endorsed by the MHA to its members, which represent over 10,000 trucks,” says Will McAndrew, chief executive officer of Plano, Texas-based EENT. “I know that our product is best suited to fit their power needs, and I am optimistic that this alliance will be a ‘win-win’ for both the MHA and EENT.”
