The Eta Upsilon Chapter of the Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity is sponsoring Sitton Motor Linesâ presentation of the âShattered Dreamsâ program at Missouri Southern State University on Friday, Oct. 28.
âShattered Dreams,â a program that promotes responsible decision-making, emphasizes the results of drunk-driving accidents. The program begins with a car crash caused by a drunk driver, which will be simulated in the Hughes Stadium parking lot.
Other scheduled activities include the Missouri Department of Transportationâs drunk-driving simulator go-cart. SMLâs âNo-Zoneâ truck demonstrates blind spots around tractor-trailers and buses. Spectators also can try on drunk-driving goggles, which allow them to experience the visual impairment of a drunk driver.
