Schneider National announced plans to add 100 new driving positions in the greater Huntsville, Ala. area.
The company is expanding its presence in northern Alabama and southern Tennessee to support an increase in demand for truckload services among Schneider clients in the region, the company said in a press release.
Schneider National plans to hire 100 over-the-road drivers and owner-operators over the next 30 days. Inexperienced drivers will earn an average of $35,000-$38,000 in their first year. Experienced drivers will earn an average of $39,000-$50,000 per year. Owner-operators leasing with Schneider National will average $105,000-$115,000 annually.
