Several transportation companies made Fortune magazine’s annual list of the World’s Most Admired Companies.
Delivery companies FedEx and UPS placed 8th and 13th, respectively, while engine and equipment manufacturer Caterpillar ranked 37th.
Transportation and logistics companies J.B. Hunt Transport Services and Pacer International also made the list.
Companies are placed on the list by other companies, which are asked to rate the competition in areas such as financial stability; quality of products, services and management; innovation; long-term investment; employee talent; corporate assets; and social responsibility.
