Overnite Transportation Company received first-place honors at the South Carolina Trucking Association’s Annual Safety Awards Banquet on March 15.
The company was in the Industrial Safety General Commodities category for companies with between 501 and 1,000 employees.
Overnite also received two second-place awards: One was for Local General Commodities carriers traveling 2-5 million miles in 2004, and the other was for the General Commodities Combined category for carriers traveling 10-15 million miles in 2004.
