Shepherdsville, Kentucky-based Haney and White Enterprise on Wednesday announced that it is acquiring B.R. Williams Trucking and B.R. Williams LTL Logistics. The acquisition unites four major transportation entities: asset-light logistics company Haney and White Logistics; Running Ox Logistics, which specializes in freight brokerage; B.R. Williams Trucking; and B.R. Williams LTL Logistics, which brings synergies in trucking, warehousing and logistics.

The newly combined company, named BRW, will offer integrated services and employ over 300 people across Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. The company will operate approximately 175 tractors, over 700 trailers and five warehouses covering over one million square feet. With its growth strategy, the company aims to reach $250 million by 2030.

“The combination of these four companies provides a dynamic, disruptive and driven enterprise built on integrity that is ideal for taking advantage of market growth opportunities and long-term sustainability,” said Nate Haney, co-founder of Haney and White Enterprise. “We’re confident and excited to embark on this combined venture.”

The integrated BRW companies can create synergies to expand service offerings and capacity for new and existing customers, driving revenue across multiple verticals, including managed freight, brokerage, asset trucking and warehousing.

Haney said that meshing the companies' cultures, customers and strengths will build a regional powerhouse that offers clients dedicated assets, access to capacity and warehousing (fulfillment).

The strategy supports growth in the Southeast corridor from Indiana to Florida, targeting automotive manufacturers, e-commerce, and government contracts. The acquisition equips BRW with resources to expand customer bases in the upper Midwest and Southern U.S. regions.

Headquartered in Oxford, Alabama, B.R. Williams Trucking has been a family-owned and operated business since 1958, establishing itself as a veteran in the industry. After co-founder Ruth Williams retired in 1992, her son-in-law Greg Brown took over as CEO and president.

“With Haney and White at the helm, B.R. Williams is poised to reach even greater heights, further solidifying its reputation as a trucking, warehousing and logistics industry leader, and I look forward to a future of continued success and growth,” Brown said.

White said they are optimistic about the acquisition and future of the company. They aim to maintain its exceptional service standards while pursuing new avenues for growth and innovation.

Looking ahead, Haney said they aim to build revenues with the additional combined service offerings and continue to develop sales both internal and external. They also aim to streamline their back office and automate as much as possible with technologies available.
