FTR opens registration for annual conference

Freight Transportation Research (FTR) has opened Early Bird Registration for its 20th Annual FTR Transportation Conference.

This year’s conference, known for its focus on data-driven decision-making and actionable intelligence, is set to take place from September 9-12 at the Crowne Plaza at the Union Station in Indianapolis.

For two decades, the FTR Transportation Conference has been a cornerstone event for transportation professionals seeking to navigate the complexities of the transportation sector through strategic insights and peer networking.

This year, FTR said it is “pulling all the stops” to ensure participants can experience the event, offering stackable deals, industry-specific bundle deals, and dedicated support from the Client Relations Team to secure the best pricing.

The four-day conference will feature a different focus each day. Truck equipment will be the focus of the first day, and truck freight will be the focus on day two. Rail freight will be the focus on the third day of the event, and rail equipment will close out the event on the final day.

Bundles are available to attend both truck sessions, both freight sessions, and both rail sessions. There is also a package for attending the full conference.

Registration is available online here. For any inquiries regarding the conference, please contact Melissa Younger at (888) 988-1699 x12 or via email at [email protected].

Leasing company joins ATA

Transport Enterprise Leasing (TEL), a truck and trailer leasing provider that works with fleets, independent owner-operators and more, has joined the American Trucking Associations to expand support for the trucking industry nationwide.

“We have joined ATA’s fight to protect America’s trucking businesses from overregulation and to promote their growth,” said Sheri Aaberg, chief operating officer of TEL. “As an allied member of the national association and many of its state affiliates, we applaud ATA efforts to educate lawmakers on issues affecting the livelihoods of truckers. We look forward to contributing to, and benefiting from, the industry data, best practices and programs that ATA provides members to improve operations and profitability.”
